We the undersigned, stand united with one voice and rightfully petition The House of Representatives and The Senate to not allow Guantanamo Bay
detainees into the United States, specifically Alexandria, VA. We
believe that allowing the detainees in this country would be a direct
insult to the brave men and women who lost their lives on 9/11, to
those who defended and continue to defend our freedom in the war on
terror, their families and loved ones. We also believe that bringing
them to Alexandria, Va. would be both a security and financial burden
that is one that the community should not have to bear. There are
other proven successful alternatives that should be sought out. |
